Slackbrae our holiday cottage is a juxtaposition of traditional skills externally with a contemporary bespoke joinery interior, accessible with everything on one level, and we’re dog friendly too. Perfect for families or two couples as an away break in the spacious 120m2. Children and infants welcome.

And our eco cabins or lodges, known as Schenbothies, are the perfect forest TinyHomes or Tiny House complete with your very own gorgeously tiled bathroom.

On arrival guests will find a welcome breakfast hamper with lots of local goodies.

Plan some time away in 2024 to get away with friends and family: for up to 10 people. By working with Polly’s Pantry our local caterer, guests can create a bespoke dinner for two or 10 delivered to your accommodation.

Or order afternoon tea, cakes, charcuterie grazing platter or picnic hamper - perfect for summer and toasty in the winter with hot soup by the firepit. For a special occasion, try out one of our woodland trails with birch discs and red ribbons leading to a firepit and picnic.

Central scotland

Under an hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and Stirling, and an hour from St Andrews we’re right in the middle. And only 15 minutes from Dollar and Culross, location setting of the Outlander film series.

Cycling, walking or golf

On our doorstep we have hills to climb, historic towns, castles, farm shops, golf courses and you can even reach us by public transport, with just the last 10 mins by taxi or bicycle. You can hire all-terrain TREK bicycles and we’ve plenty of GPS routes tried and tested by our team on road routes, hill climbs and traffic-free cycle routes through woodlands and fields.
