“The product itself is brilliant for our clients who want something unique, exclusive, and laced in history when visiting Scotland. We are excited to offer this to our clients who can experience the warm Scottish hospitality in the same way we did – thank you! Sophie Mitchell – AC Group

“Brucefield Estate's ancestry experience is one of the most thoughtfully crafted heritage offerings I've encountered. The level of research underpinning the experience is outstanding and the opportunity for guests to engage hands on with genuine artefacts and contribute to the archive sets it apart.

A particularly impressive touch is the team's willingness to research a guest's own potential ancestors and links to the estate in advance, adding a genuinely personal dimension that international visitors in particular will find extraordinary. Hosting was warm and knowledgeable and the estate setting speaks for itself. I have no hesitation recommending it to groups, FITs and travel trade partners looking for something truly distinctive.” Lucy MacDonald – Abbey The Destination Experts

“I had never heard of Brucefield Estate when I visited recently but what a hidden gem it is. We were shown round by the family who have owned the estate for many generations - it was a delight and contains some very interesting and important historical artefacts.

We took part in a delightful walk around the estate led by Stephen Alexander, their very knowledgeable Land Officer. I will be back another day - do visit - you will not regret it!” Simon Blackett – Yellow Welly Tours

“I’m so impressed by what Victoria and colleagues have achieved at the estate based on a thorough understanding and careful consideration of its national significance, founded on exemplary newly commissioned heritage, landscape and wildlife plans. The estate retains the stunning secluded forests and patina of its previous generations. It is such a delight to see it coming to life for visitors from all corners of the world in such an inspired way. Enjoy!” Adam Swan, Director of the Dundee Historic Environment Trust.

“The RSKBiocensus team and I have been working on ecology at Brucefield Estate since 2018, and it has been fantastic to see the estate develop wildlife, biodiversity, and ecology are at the heart of land management led by Stephen Alexander. Stephen and Victoria Bruce-Winkler, the estate owner, are a pleasure to work with, full of knowledge and ideas.

It is an amazing site for wildlife, with an incredible diversity of habitats, including one of the best examples of Caledonian pinewood outside of the Cairngorms, the only heathland in Clackmannanshire bordered by ancient oak-dominated woodland at Craigmad Heath Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and wetland habitats supporting an SSSI quality invertebrate assemblage. There are also rare orchids, and a diversity of birds and mammals.” Chris Cathrine, formerly of Caledonian Conservation now RSK Biosensus
