Single parent holiday with your teenager
You and your teenager on holiday – a wonderful opportunity for precious bonding time – but is your teen onboard? Most would handsdown prefer to travel with their friends than Mum or Dad! So, how do you make it work, especially when you’re travelling as a single parent? Take some inspiration and even better see the film of renowned YouTube car journalist Henrik. See and hear Henrik (Dad) and his teenage son Ludvig giving the top 3 hits of their long weeekend trip from Copenhagen (4 hours door to door) as they sit by the firepit on the last evening.
Come with us, and bring your daughter or son for an explorative, active and hugely fun long weekend to discover this corner of Scotland. Your teenager will be very surprised when their head falls on the pillow in the early evenings – leaving you to sit, happy and relaxed: parent duty accomplished.
Below is the suggested itinerary for a 3 or 4-night stay – take a look and let us know if you’d like any adjustments or any other ideas. All of the activities are available all year round – only frost will cancel playing golf on the grass turf course.
Please note that all activities, apart from ones on the estate, need to booked by you directly with the local partner – we’re unable to book these for you. To get started, let us know what dates you’re looking at coming, and let the providers below know your plans and then you’ll be able to book your holiday with all wished for activities. We’re very happy to advise wherever we can.
